Miracle of Life
The idea that life is wonderful, amazing or special.

The idea that God has favoured a couple with a child.

The idea that life is sacred because it is God-given. Only God has the right to take life away.

Conception
When a sperm meets an egg cell and fertilises it. Catholics believe life begins at this point.

Viable
The point at which a foetus could survive if it were to be born. This is around 24 weeks.

A measure of fulfillment.

Opposed to abortion, in favour of life of the foetus (in almost all cases).

Collections of people outside government who campaign for changes in society.

Process by which egg cells are removed from a woman's ovaries and mixed with sperm in a laboratory culture dish. Fertilisation takes place here.
