Repeated one bar motif creates an ostinato. Builds up through the process of note addition. Motif introduced live and top 4 at different times creating a cannon.

Begins in tonal ambiguity, but the closest relating key is Em. In B, it modulates to C min. It ends on an E5 chord.

Remain fairly constant but get louder as more parts added. Parts gradually fade out.
