what is the address bus?
the width of the address bus determines how many memory locations can be directly accessed

memory address registers-In a computer, the Memory Address Register (MAR) is a CPU register that either stores the memory address from which data will be fetched to the CPU or the address to which data will be sent and stored.

what happens in the fetch execute cycle?
fetch some instructions from main memory then store them in its own internal temporary memory areas these are called registers
