Describe and label a ray diagram to show the reflection of light from a smooth reflective surface
The angle of incidence= the angle of refraction. The light bounces out the other side.

Specular Reflection- Reflection off of a smooth surface
Diffuse Reflection- Reflection off of a rough surface

Describe a diagram to show how an image is formed in a mirror.
The light hits the surface of the mirror and reflects to the human eye so they can see themselves in the mirror.

Describe and label a ray diagram to show light travelling from air, through a glass block and back through to air again.
As the light travels through the glass block, it refracts and changes direction slightly before going back on course.

Describe what happens to the speed of light as it travels through different mediums
It slows down as the substance is denser, creating the warped line effect.

Describe how light bends in relation to the normal line when light speeds up and slows down.
It changes direction within a medium but returns to its original angle when it leaves.
