What is an Experimental Method?
Involves the manipulation of an independent variable to measure its affect on the dependent variable. This could be a laboratory, field, natural or quasi.

What is an aim?
A general statement of what the researcher intend to investigate. It is the purpose of the study.

What is a hypothesis?
A clear and precise statement that predicts the outcome of the study. It is a testable statemen that suggests the relationship between IV and DV and made at the outset of any study.

What is a directional hypothesis?
This type of hypothesis spefically states the relationship bewteen IV and DV. Sates direction of the difference.

What is a non-directional hypothesis?
Does not specifically mention the relationship bewteen IV and DV.

Clearly defining variables in terms of how this can be measured.
