person is certain about themselves e.g. know they want to die

person is uncertain about themselves. They are uncertain about what others thing about them, thus the suicide involves risk taking in terms of survival (russian roulette)

Certain about others and know they have to kill themselves. Usually as a result of an affair. It is a form of communication in which they seek to blame someone for their death

What is APPEAL suicide?
Person is uncertain about others. They have doubts about thier importance and use suicide to resole that uncertainty

Give a criticism of TAYLORS study
small sample of case studies used, while useful in giving insight into motives it is unlikely to be representative of suicides in general.
