What is the definition of operationalism?
Giving a precise definition of the behaviour being observed measured (dv) this allows for reptiiton and raises reliability eg oaggression could be operationalised on scale of 1 - 10. Therse must always be operationalised to allow for reptition

This two variables that change/vary with each other i.e as one increases so does the other in correlation. These must always be operationalised to allow for repition

give detail and depth are emotions and feelings, wehre patterns can be identified for qualitative

tends to be very difficult to analyse and any analyssis completed is subjective as it is affected by the researchers's viewpoint
