What is the definition of a 'Hypothesis'?
A testable statement which predicts the affect that the IV will have on the DV.

What is the definition of 'Reliability'?
It is a measure of the consistency of the results. If a study is reliable, it can be repeated with the same participants to give the same results.

What is the definition of 'Validity'?
Is a measure of accuracy. If a study is valid then what was set out to be measured has been measured; measured the effect of the IV on the DV, not the effect of any confounding variables.

What is a 'correlation'?
A research method that looks for a relationship/association between two variables.

What is meant by the term 'co-variables'?
Two or more quantities that vary with each other.
