What did Stanley Milgram test (when)? What was Milgrams aims and context?
Obedience (1963). Aims: what influences a man to be immoral? How many volts would a man electrocute another man with, when asked by an authoritative figure? And were the Nazi's actions dis-positional? Context World War 2 the Holocaust.

40 male volunteers were asked to teach a learner answers by giving him shocks. So they're led to believe but really the experiment was testing whether subjects would keep giving electric shocks to an innocent man because they were told to!

Describe the findings and conclusions from Milgrams research
experts believed 97% would stop at 300 volts when only 5/40 stopped at this point, participants showed clear signs of nervousness throughout and sighed in relief at the end in regret. Subject were aware of the pain they were causing but continued.
