What was Ady's career?
not much known about him, lived most of his life in Essex, was a doctor, witness trials in Bury St Edmunds, his son studied at Cambridge and became a Lawyer

followed by a perfect discovery of witches (1661) which attacked witch hunts in early 17th century, He is critical of the attitude that natural disasters are caused by witches, it was followed by a final book saying possession= mental illness
