If the person finds out they are XYY they may start to act aggressive because they think that is who they are, probably without even realising they are doing it.

Because in the experiment they could make someone into a criminal and this could cause harm to other people and would not be ethical for the person being made into a criminal as they would get into trouble if they did something illegal.

Memory is not reliable after many years, and the answers given might not provide an accurate account of what really happened.

Before conducting social research into criminality, what ethical problems should you consider?
If there is a link between the family and criminal behaviour it could be used to blame parents for their children's behaviour. Results for these studies should be treated with care and not used to hold parents responsible for their children's actions

Jonas wanted to see if criminal behaviour was a result of self-fulfilling prophecy. Explain some of the problems he might have to consider when conducting this research.
Investigating the self-fulfilling prophecy as an explanation may create or reinforce existing labels and therefore encourage criminal behaviour.
