With the last question, you mean classical conditioning, not operant. Classical conditioning was that baby's get attached to their mothers through feeding, the monkey disapproves it because it was more attached to the comfortable towel covered wire that the plain wire which fed.

harlow also disproves operant conditioning because its learnt through rewards and punishments the monkey was given the reward of food from the wire mother but chose to spend most of its time with the cloth mother
