What were group sizes?
One naive participant and a group of 6-8 confederates.

What happened in the study? (step 1-2)
Participants were shown 2 cards- one with a standard line, another with 3 varied sized lines. Participants were asked to match up one of the 3 lines with the standard line.

What happened in the study? (step 3-4)
The confederates gave the same incorrect answer on the 12 of 18 trials. (These were CRITICAL trials) After the trials Asch debriefed the naive participants about their responses and behaviour.

What were the additional procedures?
Size. Truthful Partner. Dissenting, inaccurate partner. Partner who changed his mind. Partner who left.
