LTM: Capacity unlimited capacity, but we only use a small amount of it. STM: Jacobs tested memory span and concluded we remember 5-9 points

STM: very limited, Peterson and Peterson concluded it lasts around 18s.LTM:also unlimited, information is always stored in our memories
