Behaviorism
The theory that human and animal behavior can be explained in terms of conditioning.

A stimulus that naturally, and automatically triggers a response.

Conditioned Response
Automatic response established by training to an ordinarily neutral stimulus.

Learning through reinforcement (Skinner)

Positive Reinforcement
Positive consequence to a behavior or action.

Punishment
Negative consequence to a behavior or action.

Negative Reinforcement
Avoidance of a negative consequence.

Pavlov
Study on dogs, researching Classical Conditioning. UCS = UCR, NS = NCR, UCS + NS = UCR, CS = CR

Skinner
Operant Conditioning. Study on rats. Pull lever = food. also used electric shock.

Watson and Rayner
Classical Conditioning. Little Albert. Used a loud noise as UCS, and fear as UCR, NS was a white rat.

Based on observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.

Tabula Rasa
Means blank slate

Animal Studies (why is it bad?)
Assumes rats are same as humans (Skinner), humans have more free will and so not able to generalize animals and humans.
