What are Proteins?
Proteins are made from amino acids, they are the building blocks of all living things.

They are broken down by enzymes (proteas) which break proteins down to amino acids.

Structural e.g muscle , Hormones e.g. chemical messengers (oestrogen), Antibodies e.g. helps destroy pathogens, Enzymes e.g. speeds up reactions

A catalase is an enzyme found in all living cells.

It breaks down hydrogen peroxide into harmless water and oxygen.
