What did Augustine believe about creation, free will and the fall?
God created the world from nothing perfectly. The world had no evil but Adam and Eve had free will as they needed genuine freedom, Adam and Eve misused this free will by eating the forbidden fruit. Satan tempted them as he was a fallen angel.
