Abiotic- non living. eg- temperature/rainfall/light intensity Biotic-Living. eg competition/predation

A habitat is where an organism lives. Each habitat has its own microhabitat with a microclimate

Explain what is meant by 'Ecological Niche' ?
A niche describes how an organism fits into the environment and what it does there. Includes all the abiotic and biotic factors required for the organism to survive, reproduce and maintain a viable population.
