What are the assumptions of the physiological approach?
Our behaviour and experience is determined by our biology. Our behaviour is largely controlled by the brain or nervous system.

Supports nature in the nature-nurture debate. Very scientific, reliable and easy to analyse.

Weaknesses of the physiological approach
Reductionist - ignores other factors e..g social and cognitive. Over simplistic - simplifies complex human behaviour and ignores influence of the environment.
