Cornea
A clear surface that allows light to pass through, but ALSO preotects the eye from dust and infection.

connected to the ciliary muscles to hold them in place, they stretch as the ciliary muscles move the lens

Where images are formed.Has light sensitive cells that send electrical impulese to the brain
