what is thermal (infrared) radiation?
It is the transfer of thermal energy (heat energy) by electromagnetic waves; no particles of matter are involved.

Dark matt surfaces. This is because it absorbs more radiation than light shiny surfaces because shiny surfaces are good electors of infrared radiation.

What is keltic theory?
The theory that particles in solid, liquids and gases have different amounts of energy.

Have the least amount of energy. This is because the particles are not able to move but they do vibrate around a fixed point.

The particles have energy as they have room to move around .

Gas have the most about of energy as they have more room to move around.
