What does NICE say about physical activity (PA) programmes?
They should be delivered in groups with support from a competent practitioner, consist typically of 3 sessions per week between 45 mins to 1 hour over an average of 12 weeks.

Not applicable for everyone due to time/ physical ability, does not look directly at cause or symptoms of depression, only effective if used continuously, only effective for mild depression, people may not be motivated, only effective at step two.
