What is the word equation for photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis produces 'food' (energy) in plants. The equation is - carbon dioxide + water --> glucose + oxygen

How are leaves adapted for photosynthesis?
They are broad so there's a large surface area exposed to the sunlight (which is needed to convert the co2 and water to energy). They have stomato which open and close to let gases in/out and there's lots of chlorophyll to absorb light.

What is a limiting factor and what are photosynthesis' three factors?
Limiting factors are things that stop photosynthesis from happening any faster. The limiting factors for photosynthesis are temperature, carbon dioxide concentration and light intensity.

Explain how light intensity affects photosynthesis?
Light provides the energy for photosynthesis to happen. As the light increases, so does the rate of P, but only up to a certain point. Beyond that it won't make any difference, as the temp or CO2 will then become a limiting factor.

Explain how CO2 concentration affects photosynthesis?
CO2 is one of the raw materials needed for photosynthesis. Like the light, it will only increase the rate of P up until a certain point at which the light or temp will become the limiting factors.

Explain how temperature affects photosynthesis?
Usually if the temperature is the limiting factor it's because it's too low - the enzymes needed for photosynthesis work more slowly at lower temps. But if the plant gets too hot, the enzymes will be denatured. This happens at about 45 degrees.
