an enduring pattern of inner experience and behaviour that deviates from the expectations of the individuals culture.

traits from cognitive, affective and cognitive domains that have meaningful commonalities. can be used to predict career choices. (creative, mathematical)

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test:
widely used personality assessment in occupational settings. provides information about personality by testing for 8 fundamental preferences.

Myers-Briggs personality types:
extraverted, sensing, thinking, judging, introverted, intuitive, feeling, perceiving. (elephants including spiders never taste fried jerk poo)

Furnham, Trickey & Hyde (2012) - Personality disorders, dark traits:
5000 participants. some dark traits are correlated with work success, e.g. bold, mischievous imaginative traits associated with sales success.
