Large post- Romantic orch (quadruple woodwind, large brass, percussion (xylo, cymb, tam tam, bass drum) and strings). Full to sparse. Full pitch range. Techniques- glissando trombones, mutes, cymbal bowed and hit with mallet, arco, tremolo.
