New systems are made, people are trained to use it. Smaller organisations training may not be feasible and users will be expected to learn new software themselves. (manuals, online tutorials)

Special or particular needs- need to use computers as do disabled people. Sensory impairment- the user may not be able to read the letters on a scvreen properly and therefore may need a text resizeror the option to zoom (for example).

Home, on the move (trains, planes, etc), or at work.

Task will determine user requirements. (Easy to navigate, regular updates, use correct fonts and colours etc, fast loading times).

Age.
You wouldnt design an interface for someone who is elderly to look like a primary school child for example. Many more elderly people aere beggining to use ICT, and are making full use of the benefits ICT hasto older people.

Improvements of ICT systems.
Explain difficult words using a glossary, Offering different languages, allowing user to have text read to them, making texts smaller and larger, change text and background colour, offer online help.
