Intrinsic feedback
Received from your proprioceptors after a skill eg muscle contraction, body position etc. You know the move is good just from the kinesthetic feel.

Extrinsic feedback
Received from someone other than yourself eg a coach. It helps cognitive and associative performers to develop their kinesthetic awareness.

Positive feedback
Received when the performer is successful in a movement. Given in a form of encouragement or praise to repeat the action in order to strengthen the chance of repeated success.

Negative feedback
Can be internal or external; it is used to discourage the repetition of an incorrect action so that the performer may correct themselves.

Knowledge of Results (Outcome)
Performer sees the results of their actions eg goals scored in a season, recorded times for a 100m sprint.

Knowledge of performance (Technique)
Receiving info about the performance of a skill. Can be internal or external. If external, a coach usually compares the performance to the perfect model and gives advice about small errors and how to correct them.
