Old Age Pensions Act introducedby Lloyd George to give a pension to people over 70 to avoid humiliation of workhouse however, not many people lived til 70.

Labour Exchanges meant that the unemployed could visit to find out about vacancies and one million jobs were filled a year.

The Budget Crisis happened when Llloyd George and Winston Churchill decided that the rich should pay taxes more heavily but when passed through the House of Lords they did not allow it.

A general election was called and when The Liberal Party won they reintroduced the Budget with the Kings support so the Commoners and Lords finally passed it.
