What are the differences between oil paints and emulsion paints?
Oil paints have the pigment dispersed through the oil and solvent; when they dry the solvent evaporates and the oil and pigment are left behind. But when emulsion paints dry the water evaporates, leaving the colloid of pigment and oil behind.
