What are the untis for the equation: Speed = Distance/Time
Speed(m/s) Distance(m) Time(s)
1 of 6
What's the difference between speed and velocity?
The speed of an object is just how fast it's going - the direction isn't important. Whereas velocity describes both speed and direction.
2 of 6
What is an interaction pair?
When an object exerts a force on another object and it experiences a force in return = interaction pair or partner forces. It is when the forces are equal. The forces in interaction pairs are always equal in size and opposite in direction.

Explain the 3 types of friction.
1) Lets you walk around, you exert a backward force on the floor which exerts a forward force on you walking. 2) You can reduce sliding friction and gripping friction by putting a lubricant between the surfaces. 3) Resistance or 'drag' eg. air
4 of 6
If an object is moving at a steady speed what must its forces be?
They must be balanced because unless an object is changing speed or direction, the resultant (overall) force is zero.
5 of 6
Name an equation including kinetic energy and one including GPE
KE(J) = 1/2 x mass(kg) x velocity squared ([m/s] squared) and change in GPE(J) = weight(N) x vertical height difference (m)
