What is a static charge ?
A static charge is a charge that does not move it is created by rubbing two electrical insulators together.

How easily current can flow.

Brown

What is the use of an earth wire ?
The earth wire is a safety wire to prevent the casing of the appliance becoming live.

3,5 and 13 amps.

What is an RCD ?
RCD stands for residual current device. An RCD is a safety device also known as a circuit breaker.

What is a fuse ?
A fuse prevents the device from getting damaged in a power surge. Designed to melt to break the circuit.

What is double insulation ?
It means that you do not need an earth wire as it has a plastic coating.

What is ultrasound ?
Ultrasound is a longitudinal wave above 20,000 Hz whichi is about the threshold of human hearing.

What is half-life ?
Half-life is the time it takes to half the number of whatever you have.

What is transmutation ?
When an unstable atom gives out an alpha or beta particle it will change the atom.
