What happens when an electric current flow through a wire? When is the effect used?
A magnetic field is produced around the wire. This field will only remain while current is being passed though. UIsed in electromagnets

Inside there is a permenant magnet. An electromagnet is attached to the speaker cone is the magnetic field of the permenant magnet.
