?
What is gravity?
Gravity is an attraction between all masses. It makes everything on a planet accelerate towards the ground, it gives everything a weight and keeps planets, stars and satellites in orbiits.
1 of 7
What is the difference between weight and mass?
Mass is just how muuch stuff is in an object (this would be the same anywhere in the universe). Weight is a force measured in Newtons and is the force of gravity pulling it to the center of gravity.
2 of 7
How is weight calculated?
Weight = Mass X Gravitational Field Strength.
3 of 7
What is Newton's first law of motion?
So long as the forces on an object are balanced, then it'll just stay still, or else if it's already moving it'll just continue at the same velocity - so long as the forces are all balenced.
4 of 7
What is Newton's second law of motion?
If there is an unbalanced force, then the object will accellerate in that direction.
5 of 7
What is the resultant force?
The overall unbalanced force; Force = Mass X Acceleration
6 of 7
What is Newton's third law?
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
