Advantage- no moving parts no power cables you wont run out disdadvantages- no sun no fuel

energy from the sun heats the atmosphere which causes convection currents which produce wind. Wind turbines convert the kenetic energy of moving air intoelectricity. The wind turns the blades whitch turn a genorator.

Fossil fuels) They are very accesable but burning them causes acid rain and produce carbon dioxide. Biomass) they are renewable and quickley made but this is co2 that the the plants took out of the atmosphere.

genorators rotait a coil in a magnetic feild. Every half tern the current in the coil swap direction this means that generators produce an alternating current.
