"Whose frown and wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command,"
The sculptor could see the cruelty/meanness in Ozymandias' face and chiselled it into the statue. (SHOWS HIS ARROGANCE)

Adjective - reflects the heart of Ozymandias, showing that he was mean and uncaring.

"Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Ozymandias is so arrogant and cocky, he thinks he is above everyone, including God.

Shelley uses imagery to get the point that nothing of Ozymandias' is left. And even if it is, it's in thousands of pieces. Highlighting that nature has ultimate power and that Ozymandias is ultimately weak.

Adjective - describes how Ozymandias is now old and out of date, but it also emphasises the value he had.

Imagery - creates an image of the sand giving birth to the statue, highlighting the fact that weather has ultimate power; as is creating life.

Calls to mind images of the sea, as if the 'head' is being reclaimed by an unforgiving ocean of sand..

Semantic field of nature - "stone" reminds us that the statue is a product of nature.

Theme of death - implies that the statue and his name mean nothing. Further emphasised by the adjective "lone"; the desert is empty even though there is a statue still there, portraying the statues insignificance.
