A) Dampen iron wool with water. Push into bottom of boiling tube. Invert into half full water beaker. Use rubber band to mark initial vol. of water level. Leave for a week. Water level shouldve risen to replace w/ oxygen that has reacted w/ ion.

Two syringes joined together by tube of copper turnings. One syringe full of air (100cm3). Heat copper turnings and air passes between tubes until vol. of air is constant
