What is reliability?
Reliability is how consistant the data collected is. Can the study be replicated?

Validity is how accurate the data collected is. Did the study measure the aim?

What is inter rater reliability?
Inter rater reliability is when two or more researchers collect the same behavior and later compare the data for consistancy.

What is ecological validity?
Ecological validity is whether the study is true to life or realistic.

What is a lab experiment?
A lab experiment is when the IV is manipulated and the study takes place in a lab like environment

What is a field experiment?
A field experiment is where the participants are in a natural environment.

What is a natural or quasi experiment?
A quasi experiment is where the IV is naturally occurring.

The variable that is manipulated by the researcher.
