A reaction in which heat causes a substance to break down and form two new substances.

calcium carbonate -> calcium oxide + carbon dioxide

How is concrete made? The how does it become reinforced concrete?
Concrete is made when cement, sand and small stones are mixed with water. It is then reinforced by running steel rods or meshes through it.

When is concrete strong and when is it weak?
It is strong under compression and weak under tension (pulling)
