What is a species?
A group of organisms that can produce fertile offspring e.g. Rabbits

What is the binomial system?
The latin names e.g. Homo sapien. (Genus has a capital, species is lower case!)

Why is a platypus hard to classify?
It lays eggs, produces milk, has a beak and webbed feet and lives in water: it doesn't fit into a single category.

Mammals: they gove birth to live young, breath above water and produce milk.

Why is it hard to classify Bacteria?
They reproduce asexually.

What is a hybrid?
A combination of two species that are infertile.
