Node 1 always starts at 0. Node 1 will always have an EST of 0 and an LFT of 0.
5 of 10
EST
EST is calculated from left to right by adding the duration of the activity to the previous EST. When two or more activities go into the same node the highest number goes in the EST section.
6 of 10
LFT
The LFT of the final node always matches the EST. To complete the LFT you calculate from right to left. When two or more activities go into the same node the lowest number goes in the LFT section.
