what is Ethernet?
ethernet cable. the original method for connecting computers. ethernet can provide 3 transmission speeds, basic (up to 10mb(10 megabits per second)) fast (up to 100mb) Gigabit(100mb(1 billion bits per second)). another name for it is IEEE 802.3
