what was the aim of Nazi propaganda?
to get people to believe in and support the Nazis and also to 'target' hatred against certain groups e.g. jews, communists. Joseph goebbels in charge

how did nazis use propaganda?
newspapers censored (only good about nazis). radio controlled (no foreign stations). loudspeakers in streets & workplaces broadcast nazi message. nazi took over film industry. music had to be german (no black or jewish composers). sport events

what was the concordat?
agreement signed between Hitler and the catholic church. they agreed not to interfere with each other. the church could worship and run it's own schools but must stay out of politics.

what about the protestant church?
the reich church, led by muller, supported by the nazis. the confessional church, led by martin niemoller, opposed the nazis and was repressed by the nazis.

how did the church oppose hitler?
the confessional church, set up in 1934. had 6000 protestant pastors . 800 pastors were arrested and sent to concentration camps. 400 catholic priests spoke up and were imprisoned at Dachau
