How do Music Magazines use the internet to gain interest in the audience demographic?
Most good Music Magazines are available online, due to use of technology in everyday life, and as it is easier to access online. Magazine's such as 'Q' will show free headlines on the app, and will demand a subscription fee for article content.

Music Magazine's cost more in 2012/2013
4 of 22

Both are important for this exam.
6 of 22
Would it cost you more or less to view a Magazine in it's print copy?
It would cost more. This is because of Print costs; online magazines are much cheaper to produce, therefore the cost is less to view.
7 of 22

Yes, though constructing clear and concise sentences may be preferable (no waffle!)

IOS and Android

The online version would be more individualistic and promotes 'being different' and being technologically advanced.
16 of 22
How has social media/networking negatively affected the Music Press?
The popularity of social networking sites such as twitter means that top music news can no longer 'break' a story to the audience. Facebook 'shares' also affect this.
17 of 22
How has social media/networking positively affected the Music Press?
Sites such as twitter can promote your Website/Magazine.
18 of 22
How would the popular distribution of music in this decade be more preferable towards the Online Music Press than the Print version?
Music is usually shared electronically, so it would be easier to have an app that you can purchase the sound file directly from than reading the content. Also, Music Press online can sample music via youtube to stimulate interest in audiences.
19 of 22
How can you market Print Copies in this decade?
Include exclusive content, QR codes for interactivity, Posters included in the Print copy, Pictorials, B2B marketing (Business2Business), Loyalty copies, 'Send Off; for gig tickets etc...

21 of 22
How could you promote other companies on your web page when desgining it (But remember, in the 2013 exam, they do not want to become a 'promotional tool for the music industry' so be sure to include this in your response)
