What’s anacrusis / upbeat?
An unstressed note or group of notes at the start of the phrase

What’s syncopation?
The accents are shifted from the main beat to a weaker beat, to avoid regular rhythm

A regular pattern of beats indicated by the time signature

The beat of the music. Although there may be other rhythms, the pulse is steady.
