Chamber orchestra with strings, woodwind, horns. Strings play almost all the time, woodwind dont play as much as strings (both play at start of 2nd subject). One horn in G one in B flat playing held notes

Modulates between G minor and B flat major. Diatonic and functional, based around standard major and minor triads. Examples of Chromatic Chords (diminished 7th, augmented 6th) and Pedal Notes (cellos b4 2nd subject)
