three groups of six people were asked to view a set of 36 blue coloured slides, they had it state whether the slide was blue or green. the sample was 172 female participants.

how did he test for minority influence?
in one group 2 confederates consistently said they thought the tiles were green, in the other group 2 confederates were only consistent 2/3 of the time.

what were there results of his study?
consistent group were wrong 8.42% of the trials, the inconsistent group was wrong on 1.25% and control was wrong 0.25%.

variations where they wrote down their response, they agreed more, supporting internalisation. high in control so they can control all variables and are therefore high in reliability.

geocentric, low in ecological validity.
