Environment
An ever-growing demand for electronic devices means increased manufacturing output and increased energy needed to run the devices. This means negative by-products are created such as greenhouse gases.

There is a distinct divide between access in countires in the developing and developed world. Not everyone has accessto IT systems. Some schools release access to materials online, students without computers at home have no personal access to them.

The way peopl act online. The perception of the internet as an impersonal and anonymous place to communicate, leads to unacceptable behaviour online, e.g. trolling and cyberbullying.

Some sites allow users to express views that other users find offensive, however many sites set rules for the content added by sers and for user behaviour and close down accounts groups and pages that breach the rules.
