What is Gore-Tex?
Gore-Tex uses a system of 2 or 3 laminated layers with fine membranses that allow small internal sweat molecules to pass out of the body and prevent larger exterior water droplets from entering.

What is reflective textiles?
These are fabrics which have been coated using special processes to relect light. Used to make health and safety jackets so that the wearer can be seen in the dark.

It draws moisture away from the body and are made of high-tech polyester.

These have electronic devices e.g. mp3, phone or GPS system embedded into a fabric so that the wearer can listen and communicate while on the move.

What is Kevlar?
Kevlar is a fabric woven like many tiny webs. It doesn't corrode, it is lightweight, heat and water resistant and it doesn't melt. Due to these properties it is used a lot with the special forces and for bulletproof vest.
