Condition 1: confederates consistent in responses
Condition 2: confederates were inconsistent

Strengths of Moscovici's findings.
Wood et al did a meta analysis of 100 studies and found that consistency made the minorities the most influential.
Martin et al found that when ptpts were told a view from a minority, people more deeply processed the information.

Weaknesses of Moscovici's findings.
research is mostly artificial and lacks the importance of real life scenarios (like jury duty). Limited in what it can tell us.
the sample was all female undergrads so population validity is low. Some studies have shown women are more conformist.
