Another form of choice architecture that aim to influence consumer behaviour via the use of gentle suggestions and positive reinforcement.

What are 2 advantages of nudges?
They can be a means of changing people’s behaviour in a socially desirable manner without taking away freedom of choice. They can be a more cost-effective alternative to the use of laws, bans or regulation.

What are default choices?
An additional form of choice architecture which set socially desirable choices as the default option, making it an effort to choose otherwise.

What is mandated choice?
A stronger form of choice architecture where people are required by law to make a choice.

What is restricted choice?
Another way of influencing people’s choices, recognising that too much choice can sometimes confuse individuals from making an effective choice.
